Work / Planning Policy

Creating Plans and Policies

PLAN*et develops Comprehensive, General, Master, and neighborhood plans for local, county, state, and tribal governments. Our plans are supported by elected officials and by residents at the ballot box. Our plans are implemented. We pride ourselves on creating planning and public engagement processes unique to each project and tailored to our clients' individual needs. Many of the plans and policies developed by PLAN&et have been awarded by the Arizona Planning Association, Arizona Society of Landscape Architects, and Arizona Forward.

Work / Sustainable Connectivity

Linking Places to People

PLAN*et Principal, Leslie Dornfeld, created Arizona's first regional plan for pedestrians. She developed the still active Maricopa Association of Governments' Design Assistance Program, which has resulted in over $15 million of investments in pedestrian facilities over the past two decades. Leslie led the development of the region's first Complete Streets Plan, and played a significant role in the adoption of the City of Phoenix Complete Streets Policy. PLAN*et has led or participated in the development of a variety of pedestrian, complete street, bike and pedestrian, and recreational trail plans throughout Arizona.
